Khamosh Pani (Urdu: کھموش پنِ, Hindi: खमोश पनि lit. Silent Waters) is a highly acclaimed 2003 French/German production about a single mother and her young son; set in a 1970s Pakistani village which is coming under radical influence.
The film was shot in a village in Pakistan and won 7 awards.
