The Peace Gardens, before the demolishion of the "eggbox" Town Hall Extension

It has won many awards, and was one of the major sites responsible for Sheffield's gold in the Entente Florale 2005.

The aim of this site was as a public meeting space, it has fountains at the centre, and also around the outside.
