Was the Sheriff of Beinville Parish, Louisiana and a member of the ambush squad that killed Bonnie and Clyde. Not much is known other than he served as a Marine infantry soldier during world war 1. Jordan served as Sheriff from 1932 until shortly before his death. A more dubius character emerges in his handling of the Bonnie and Clyde death car. Jordan allegedley demanded $15000.00 from the cars owner, Ruth Warren of Topeka Kansas. His refusal to surrender the auto led to Warren obtaining a Federal Court order for the vehicles release.
