Welcome to Misplaced Pages. I see that you have added or changed information in several articles without citing sources -- and often in contradiction to what the cited sources say. Publishing information based on your personal knowledge is contrary to Misplaced Pages policies on verifiability and "no original research". Please do not add or change content unless it is verified by citing a reliable source. Thank you. --Orlady (talk) 12:40, 22 May 2013 (UTC)

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Houston. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Jeremy (talk) 03:58, 31 December 2013 (UTC)

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Lil Boosie. This contravenes Misplaced Pages's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Misplaced Pages. STATic message me! 17:01, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for February 28
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Shotgun house, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Third Ward. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Palm Center (Houston), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Misplaced Pages:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 05:40, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Sunnyside, Houston, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 05:42, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
Faking numbers
Of your recent edits, some were simply unreferenced, some were unhelpful, and quite a few were simply untrue. Faking numbers and names is not acceptable. If you keep that up, you will be blocked from editing. Huon (talk) 21:53, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Please do not add or change content, as you did at Rich Homie Quan, without citing a reliable source using an inline citation that clearly supports the material. The burden is on the person wishing to keep in the material to meet these requirements, as a necessary (but not always sufficient) condition. Please review the guidelines at Misplaced Pages:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 00:21, 7 February 2017 (UTC)
Sourcing
The "references" you provided at San Antonio clearly do not match your numbers. I can see from the many, many warnings on this page for this very problem, so this seems to be a long term issue. Please note that further poor edits may result in blocks without any further warnings. Kuru (talk) 13:32, 5 August 2017 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Misplaced Pages, as you did at Beverly Hills, California. Magnolia677 (talk) 10:12, 24 September 2017 (UTC)

We have an article on Texas blues. If you can find reliable sources to back them up, your edits might be more appropriate there. Ghmyrtle (talk) 17:57, 13 November 2017 (UTC)

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages.
When editing Misplaced Pages, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to San Antonio does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
- User contributions
- Recent changes
- Watchlists
- Revision differences
- IRC channels
- Related changes
- New pages list
- Article editing history
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! GenQuest 09:28, 18 November 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, edit summaries are generally good practice, but generally editors don't template other established editors over not leaving them. I think it would have been more helpful if, instead of a generic message about edit summaries, you had discussed with 187Ernest specifically why he should have left edit summaries in his minor edit conflict with you over the size of San Antonio's African-American population, to aid in resolution of that conflict. As it stands, you templating him over edit summaries appears to this uninvolved observer that you knew he hadn't violated any policy, but you didn't agree with him so you were looking for something petty to wag your finger at him for. As 187Ernest seems to be a problematic editor in more serious ways (see my admonishment to him over Southern hospitality, focusing on trifles like edit summaries is missing the forest for the trees, an unhelpful distraction. Just my 2 cents. 73.166.250.111 (talk) 16:09, 13 December 2017 (UTC)
- @73.166.250.111: You can probably keep your opinions to yourself. What do you hope to accomplish inserting yourself annonymously into my discussion with this errant editor? I reverted his meaningless – and erroneously stated, un-cited, opinion-driven, and non-factual edits (is that "policy" driven enough for you?) – and you want to insert your brand of drama into the non-discussion? Why did you choose to even discuss this here on a third party page? Looking for attention? I don't have time for this, so KMA. Have a good day. GenQuest 13:53, 14 December 2017 (UTC)

Inappropriate embellishment of quoted reference
On November 23, 2016, you edited the Southern hospitality article by changing a quote written in 1835 by Jacob Abbott from "A stranger is riding on horseback through Virginia or Carolina" to "A stranger is riding on horseback through Texas, Virginia, or Carolina." What exactly did you think you were accomplishing by corrupting the integrity of a quotation just to flex some Texas pride? This really speaks to a lack of trustworthiness from an established Misplaced Pages editor; you should NOT be editing here if you are so dishonest that you would do something like this for such a small issue - what does it say about how far you would go to fabricate and vandalize to POV-push on a more controversial and important issue? 73.166.250.111 (talk) 15:54, 13 December 2017 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for December 14
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Demographics of Texas, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Irish (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
