Telekom Brunei Berhad (TelBru) is Brunei Darussalam’s premier telecommunications company and main telecommunications provider that offers a varied portfolio of nationwide services to the Consumer, and Enterprise sectors, with its mainstay being high speed broadband (HSBB) and telephony services over state-of-the-art fibre optics infrastructure. At present, the company offers a minimum bandwidth of 10mbps with several other packages that can reach speeds of 300mbps . Based on demand, TelBru also has the capability to provide 2.5Gbps . The company also provides IT-based solutions for corporate as well as government clients.

History

TelBru was incorporated May 30, 2002. It has been operational since April 2006 when the Department of Telekom Brunei (JTB) was corporatized on 1st April 2006.

As of the end of 2017, the company employs more than 900 staff and continues to undergo major transformation to maintain and enhance its dominance of its broadband market share and move up the ICT value chain from ‘traditional telecoms’ to being a provider of value added services on multiple levels. The company aims to be at the forefront of innovation, addressing customers evolving needs at affordable rates, whilst at the same time enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty, with a highly motivated and up-skilled workforce.
