Finneas O'Connell, better known mononymously by his stage name Finneas (born in 1997), is an American actor and musician who played Alistaire in the Fox TV series Glee and starred as Shane in the award winning independent feature Life Inside Out. He is also known for his portrayal of the character Spencer in Columbia Pictures' Bad Teacher, had a recurring role on ABC's Modern Family and appeared in the premiere episode of "Aquarius".
Finneas began writing and producing songs at the age of 12. He is the front man and lead singer/songwriter of the band, The Slightlys. The band has won numerous awards and competitions in the Los Angeles area.
Finneas is the brother and songwriting partner of American singer Billie Eilish. He co-wrote and produced her debut E.P. Don't Smile at Me and tours with her.
Songwriting and production credits
Finneas collaborates with other songwriters as well. His breakthrough in co-writing was with American nu-disco duo The Knocks on their song "Your Eyes", featuring Tayla Parx, which was also co-written with Billie Eilish. His full songwriting and production discography is displayed below:
