Simon Shelton (20 April 1964 – 17 January 2018), also known as Simon Barnes, was a British actor best known for playing Dark Knight in the Incredible Games, and Tinky Winky in the BBC children's show Teletubbies from 1997 to 2001.

Early life

Shelton was born on 20 April 1964 in Bethnal Green, London.

Career

Shelton played Dark Knight in Incredible Games from 1994 to 1995. Simon played Tinky Winky in the BBC children's show Teletubbies and its reboots.

Personal life

Shelton was married to Emma Robbins, had three children, and lived in Ampthill, Bedfordshire. He was the uncle of The Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack.

He died on 17 January 2018.
