Dark side of the moon
Hi, because you have previously written about this subject in the past, could you please offer your views on the dispute on the article Moon, that is being discussed at Talk:Moon#Dark side of the moon, regarding the terminology of "dark side of the moon"? Thank you. —Lowellian (reply) 16:46, 23 September 2017 (UTC)
List of heads of state and government who committed suicide listed at Redirects for discussion
An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect List of heads of state and government who committed suicide. Since you had some involvement with the List of heads of state and government who committed suicide redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. ArbCom 2017 election voter message
Hello, Tamfang. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
Ref desk confusion
Not sure if you're aware, but your comment on the Math Ref Desk starting "Possibly a more interesting question: ..." was added and removed several times by different editors. Looks like it might have gotten caught up in some block evasion kerfuffle and since you're a regular there I thought I'd mention it in case you wanted to restore it from the history. Sometimes revert conflicts can get confusing and I wanted to make sure no legitimate edits got lost in the shuffle. --RDBury (talk) 01:20, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
- I removed it (though I don't remember why) right after I wrote it, then an IP restored it with a reply ... what a day —Tamfang (talk) 18:38, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
