Teddy M is a British contemporary artist. Previously described by GQ magazine as "The Artist to Watch,” he gained attention with a 2016 painting co-created with British royalty. He has also designed art Stratocasters for Ed Sheeran and created a Range Rover Autobiography Art Car.

Work

In 2013, Teddy M created a digital media artwork approved by Eric Clapton.

In 2015, musician Ed Sheeran borrowed a painted Fender Stratocaster known as "Green T" from Teddy M for use on his X world tour. The guitar was played in 18 countries on the single "Thinking Out Loud" and later sold at Bonhams, London for £12,500 (Dec 2015). Sheeran also commissioned an art guitar as a collaboration between Teddy M and New York street artist John Matos. Known as the Crash x Teddy M Stratocaster, the brightly painted guitar features the Teddy M Heart and the eye symbol of Crash. Sheeran debuted the guitar at his Wembley Stadium concerts in July 2015. The guitar also features on Sheeran's Live concert DVD, Jumpers for Goalposts. In 2017, Sheeran played his 'Crash x Teddy M' Stratocaster during his headline performance at the Glastonbury Festival and on the Divide world tour.

In 2016, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie and Sarah, Duchess of York painted with Teddy M on the lawn of Royal Lodge, adding their own 'graffiti' to a painting titled "Royal Love". It was exhibited at Masterpiece London and auctioned at a private dinner in June 2016 by Lord Dalmeny of Sotheby's. The artist donated the proceeds from the sale to the charity Children in Crisis.

Teddy M was commissioned by FIAT heir Lapo Elkann to create paintings for his private collection.

In 2017, DriveTribe revealed the Teddy M Range Rover Autobiography Art Car. The car features a Teddy M Heart design hand painted on vinyl and placed over the hood along with hand-painted and cut-out shapes installed under direction by WrapStyle UK.
