Sholinghur is a state assembly constituency in Vellore district in Tamil Nadu, India. It consists of portions of the Walajah and Arakkonam taluks. It falls under Arakkonam constituency for national elections to the Parliament of India.
The mostly rural constituency was politically dominated from the 1960s by four brothers, including Ponnuranga and A. M. Munirathinam, from a staunch Indian National Congress-supporting family. One or other of the brothers either won or was runner-up in eight of the twelve state assembly elections between 1962 and 2011.
