Rollback

Sorry, unregistered users cannot be granted permissions due to technical restrictions. Please create an account in order to request user account permissions. (add request · view requests) Shortcuts Please review Misplaced Pages:Rollback before making a request. Applicants with fewer than 200 mainspace edits are unlikely to be granted this right. More importantly, applicants must have a measurable track record of counter-vandalism and no recent history of edit warring. The counter-vandalism training program is available if you wish to gain experience in handling vandalism.

Hi everybody. I am a Rollbacker on Bulgarian Misplaced Pages where I have gained good experience as a counter-vandalism editor. I hope I will be useful here. Here I have quite good experience to revert the numerous socks of User:PavelStaykov. Regards. 17:13, 8 June 2018 (UTC)
Please explain why the system doesn't show you as a Rollbacker on Bulgarian Misplaced Pages, as you claim you are. Also, please explain why you're indefinitely blocked on Macedonian Misplaced Pages for hate speech. Swarm 23:26, 8 June 2018 (UTC)
I have defacto these rights on Bulgarian Misplaced Pages. Maybe there is a small difference in the rights' system here and on Bulgarian Misplaced Pages. If I see here I am patroller, autopatroller and Misplaced Pages pending changes reviewer. As for the case on Macedonian Misplaced Pages, the story is quite peculiar. Due to political and historical reasons and contradictions, the Bulgarian and Greek editors are censored and the attitude towards them is humiliating there. You can check in my story as editor on English Misplaced Pages I was blocked indefinitely here, because of a dispute with a Macedonian editor. However, this was re-examined. Now the political relations between Bulgaria and Macedonia are improving and I think I will appeal to be unblocked there, although I hardly can ever write on Macedonian Misplaced Pages, the historical explanations that I can write here. Regards. Jingiby (talk) 04:34, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
According to bg:Special:ListGroupRights, the "Патрульори" (patroller) group on Bulgarian Misplaced Pages, of which Jingiby is a part, does include the (rollback) right, which is indeed different from how English Misplaced Pages does it. Mz7 (talk) 03:01, 10 June 2018 (UTC)
Your block log is absolutely extensive here at English Misplaced Pages. I get that most of them were a long time ago, but you were also blocked for 3 years until last year. Can you explain how you've moved past edit warring, sockpuppetry, harassment, "repeated fair use abuse", and Arbitration Enforcement violations? -- Amanda (aka DQ) 19:11, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
We learn from failure, not from success. Jingiby (talk) 03:58, 17 June 2018 (UTC)
True, but you didn't answer the question. —Compassionate727  18:10, 17 June 2018 (UTC)
Not done If you're unable or unwilling to take this as seriously as you should be, then we're not going to waste our time with this further. It should not be difficult for you to understand that your good standing here is tentative at best, and that in order to receive special privileges here you'll need to thoroughly explain what you did wrong in the past, why you did it, what you've done to resolve it, what has changed, and why we should trust you in spite of your substantial history of disruption to the project. Because, it appears that you do not learn from failure, having served a total of nearly 4.5 years being blocked, and only being allowed to return for a "second chance", not because you actually addressed your behavior directly. Your answer here, dismissing all of the problematic history as mere mistakes that humans make and learn from, is kind of a slap in the face. I encourage you to write a very thorough statement addressing your past behavior before ever requesting user rights again, and if you're able to do that, we can start looking into whether you're ready for a temporary "trial run". Thank you for this explanation. Jingiby (talk) 10:02, 18 June 2018 (UTC)
At the moment I need time to rethink my position and then maybe to try again. Thanks everybody. Jingiby (talk) 03:29, 20 June 2018 (UTC)

Hi everyone! Aside from editing a lot of topics, I am currently using twinkle to revert unconstructive edits on Misplaced Pages. I get updated with bad faith edits with the recent changes tool. I feel like using the rollback right will give me a boost since it takes less time to revert everything. I am also contemplating using huggle, and with the rollback right, I can use it. Thank you. Hello, I am Aggarwala2727 and I have been around here on Misplaced Pages for around 2-3 months.

I have been reverting vandalism with twinkle and manually and I think I am now experienced with it. I now want to use Huggle to revert vandals as it takes less time. Thanks Aggarwala2727 (talk) 09:50, 20 June 2018 (UTC)

Automated comment This user has had 1 request for rollback declined in the past 90 days () and has 116 edits in the mainspace. — MusikBot 09:10, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
Hey, does this also effect the chances of being granted the rollback rights?
Aggarwala2727 (talk) 09:54, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
Not done Your last request was less than three weeks ago, but more importantly, I don't see any significant antivandalism work. That's fine! Editing content is good. But I'm not sure this would be that useful to you. ~ Amory (utc) 10:59, 22 June 2018 (UTC)

User:Baerentp

I have been using Misplaced Pages (as a "customer") for many years without investing my share of time in keeping it in good working order. Therefore, I hope to be granted "rollback" rights in order to use Huggle to limit the threat of e.g. vandalism. I understand the responsibilty that goes along with these rights. Baerentp (talk) 15:00, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
Not done That's the path I started on! Reverts look good, but you've basically been at this for about 15 days. Thanks for diving in so quickly, but I'd like to see a bit lengthier history and track record of you as an editor before granting rollback/huggle access. Keep up the good work and then bug me or come back here, say, mid-July. Sound good? ~ Amory (utc) 14:42, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
I respect your decision although I fail to understand your logic. I don't see what had been different if current amount of activity had been spaced out over a month or two. Further, the guidlines as per WP:RBK - although not having a fixed set of requirements, does not include your interpretation of "time". Just my 5 cents... --Baerentp (talk) 15:21, 22 June 2018 (UTC)

Have been an editor in good standing for five years since being reinstated. I contribute to various Wikiprojects and moderate disputes at DRN. Part of my own efforts to help the project include patrolling recent changes. I wish to step up my efforts to keep the "skies clear" to the best of my ability, and the Huggle program notes that rollback permissions are required to use it fully. Requesting such permission on those grounds. Thank you for your consideration. EnglishEfternamn*t/c* 16:52, 20 June 2018 (UTC) EnglishEfternamn*t/c* 16:52, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
Not done I hear ya, but you've had 122 mainspace edits since your reblock in August 2013, and your editing pattern is anything but reliable. Even with 2013 in the mix, you've only got 280 mainspace edits in over a decade thanks to the block. More to the point, I don't see a pattern of concerted anti-vandalism fighting outside of 2013. If you're actually interested in contributing positively at recent changes patrol, you can use twinkle to get the hang of things. ~ Amory (utc) 14:34, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
