• Where is the error? An exact quotation of the text in question helps.
• Offer a correction if possible.
• References are helpful, especially when reporting an obscure factual or grammatical error.

• Can you resolve the problem yourself? If the error lies primarily in the content of an article linked from the Main Page, fix the problem there before reporting it here. Text on the Main Page generally defers to the articles with bolded links. Upcoming content on the Main Page is usually only protected from editing beginning 24 hours before its scheduled appearance. Before that period, you can be bold and fix any issues yourself.
• Do not use {{edit fully-protected}} on this page, which will not get a faster response. It is unnecessary, because this page is not protected, and causes display problems because this is not a talk page. (See the bottom of this revision for an example.)
• No chit-chat. Lengthy discussions should be moved to a suitable location elsewhere, such as the talk page of the relevant article or project.

• I think it needs a further re-write. Really, the sixteen affected by kidney stones pales into insignificance when the scale of the impact is discussed. I understand that the kidney stone diagnosis was the OTD link, but it's somewhat trivial compared to the deaths and hundreds of thousands affected. The Rambling Man (talk) 14:13, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

This should be pulled as it is the scandal that broke on this day, but that’s not mentioned. The tainted milk powder had been ongoing. Also the wording is clumsy, were the children hospitalised due to six deaths? No. I’m on mobile so can make major edits, otherwise I’d pull it myself. Stephen 22:56, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

• "was hunted down and killed" - the article said that OTD he was "reported dead in unclear circumstances" which isn't the same as "hunted down and killed" by any means. The Rambling Man (talk) 14:35, 15 July 2018 (UTC)

• I know this is a waste of time because no-one gives a toss about the facts claimed in POTD blurbs, but "with females averaging a body size of 30–50 millimetres (1.2–2.0 in) and males growing to 5–6 millimetres (0.20–0.24 in)" isn't sourced in the article.
