The eldest son of Finwë and Indis, Fingolfin was the older brother of Finarfin and the younger half-brother of Fëanor. He died in a duel with Morgoth at the Dagor Bragollach, and is accounted the most beloved King of the Noldor. His children were Fingon, Turgon and Aredhel.
