A Korean entrepreneur who started in the chemical industry, and founder of LG Group. The original is Yucheng, and was born in Jinzhou City in Gyeongsangnam-do in 1907.
Entrepreneurial process
Since 1926, he has been in Seoul Central High School for two years, and later became the head of corporate business. Capital was accumulated during the Japanese colonial rule of Korea. When he was young, he thought that only by relying on the power of capital to enhance the country's competitiveness, can the entire nation be freed from the pain of colonial rule. After Japan surrendered, in 1947, it established the predecessor of Lejin, Lexi Chemical Industry Association, which initially produced only cosmetics “Lexi Cream”. At the end of the Korean War, his company entered the plastics industry for the first time in Korea in order to develop a fragile cosmetic bottle cap. It has produced plastic products such as combs, soap boxes, toothbrushes and tableware, and has contributed to improving people's living standards. After that, the development focus will be shifted to the emerging electronics industry and cleaning products.
