Zombieland Saga (Japanese: ゾンビランドサガ, Hepburn: Zonbirando Saga) is an upcoming anime television series. The series is produced by Cygames in collaboration with Avex Pictures, and animated by studio MAPPA. The series will premiere on October 4, 2018.

Production and release
Cygames announced the series, in collaboration with Avex Pictures, on July 5, 2018. The series will be directed by Munehisa Sakai and written by Shigeru Murakoshi, with animation by studio MAPPA. The series' character designs are provided by Kasumi Fukagawa, Kazuo Ogura is the art director, Takashi Yanagida is serving as director of photography, Azusa Sasaki is the color designer, and Masahiro Goto is editing the series. Yasuharu Takanashi is composing the series' music, which will be produced by Avex Pictures, while dugout is producing the sound. Both the opening theme song "Adabana Necormancy" (徒花ネクロマンシー, lit. "Fruitless Necromancy") and the ending theme song "Hikari e" (光へ, lit. "To the Light") are image songs performed in character by the actresses Hondo, Tano, Taneda, Kawase, Kinugawa, and Tanaka. The 12-episode series will premiere on October 4, 2018, and will be broadcast on AT-X, Tokyo MX, Sun TV, BS11, Saga TV, and TVQ.
