Survival Tips
Hi Nileena, I see that you had a user box saying that you wish to become an administrator one day. You may consider the following. The wikipedia community is a community of aspirants. So the competition is tough. If you want to become one you should consider these.
1. All the policies can be violated resorting to common sense. But remember that common sense is not common. So while using common sense, use the uncommon; the sense of big brothers.
2. In case you notice something against your common sense, as an aspirant, what you should do is to go on editing new articles. Never question the big brother. Aspirants should pretend not to have noticed anything.
3. Edit count is important. Go on editing. Best is one word during one edit. Many here consider editors with higher edit count superior.
4. Sock-puppets are Okay. But be careful that you are not voting against the big brothers. (If you had voted to delete S. Jithesh, no one would have bothered). Also take care that your language does not betray you.
5. Barn stars are not sufficient. Be specific while praising. Oh your edit here was fantastic, etc. It helps. After all who is here to help the African child?

Administrators' Noticeboard
Hi, Nileena. I had to revert an edit you made to the Administrators' Noticeboard. Your edit accidentally wiped out many comments from others. It seemed to return the article to a version of several days ago. I can only advise you to try adding the message again. Thanks, Aecis 20:21, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
New contributions
You can announce new articles at it's new section on the India noticeboard. If they have an interesting fact, you can nomininate the article at WP:DYK and have them appear on the mainpage. -- Ganeshk (talk) 05:00, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
