The Broward Mall, officially known as Westfield Broward, is a one-level 1,000,000-square-foot (93,000 m) shopping mall in Plantation, Florida, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. The mall has recently completed a multi-million-dollar renovation, and is operated and owned by the Westfield Group. The center features 125 retail and service shops, four department stores, and a variety of casual dining venues. The Mall was owned by the Mills from 2003-2007. Simon Malls operated the mall for summer 2007. On November, Westfield officially acquired the mall and renamed "Westfield Broward". It is the seventh Westfield mall in Florida and one of two in South Florida. (Westfield Westland Mall in Hialeah)
