Rojam is the brand name of Rojam Entertainment Holdings Limited, a Japanese–owned entertainment company founded by Tetsuya Komuro in 1988. It has been listed in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as HK8075 since May 2001, and is now known as Media Asia. The company headquarters is in Hong Kong. Its primary activity in mainland China was the operation of a nightclub in Shanghai, which closed in 2008.

Name

Rojam is "Major" spelled backward, which allegedly highlighted the company's vision "To Be The MAJOR Entertainment Network in Asia".

Operations

Music production and distribution

The company produced music under its wholly owed record label, R and C Limited (co-owned with Yoshimoto Kogyo).

Discos

The company previously owned a disco in Shanghai, China (~1999?-December 2008). It also opened a disco in Suzhou in 2017, however this did not perform well.
