In the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game, the tentamort is a type of aberration.

Publication history

The tentamort first appeared in the original first edition Fiend Folio (1981).

The tentamort appeared in second edition for the Greyhawk setting in the Monstrous Compendium Greyhawk Appendix (1990).

Description

A tentamort is a dark blue creature with a conical body covered in angry red eyes and numerous tentacles, two of which are longer than the rest. A tentamort attacks with poison that causes nausea.

Other publishers

The tentamort appeared in the Tome of Horrors (2002) from Necromancer Games.

The tentamort appeared in Paizo Publishing's book Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Bestiary 2 (2010), on page 261.
