Hillel Fuld is an Israeli American tech marketer, advisor, vlogger/blogger and global speaker.

Hillel brings over a decade of marketing experience with leading Israeli and Silicon Valley startups and currently collaborates with many global brands in an official marketing capacity including Google, Oracle, Microsoft, Huawei, and others. Hillel covers the dynamic local tech scene for numerous leading tech publications. He also mentors startups across Israel in different accelerators including The Google Launchpad, the Microsoft Ventures accelerator, Techstars, The Junction, and more.

As a public speaker, Hillel has traveled worldwide to speak about many topics including Israeli tech, startups, entrepreneurs, devices, and his personal story.

On his tech vlog, Hillel creates and posts content that revolves around Israeli tech startups, with a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the brilliant minds behind the innovations.

Hillel has been named Israel’s top marketer, has been featured on CNBC, Inc, and was dubbed by Forbes as “The Man Transforming Startup Nation into Scale-up Nation”.

Career

Hillel is a prolific writer and has written for many distinguished tech and marketing publications. He has conducted interviews with many notable people in the tech community including Marc Andreesen, Gary Vaynerchuk, Guy Kawasaki, Alyssa Milano.

Hillel got his start in blogging soon after graduating from university. He viewed his blog as a diary, in which he shared his thoughts on emerging technologies. His audience grew through his consistent posts, which opened many doors and led to his career in tech marketing and advising startups.

In 2014, Hillel met up with Steve Wozniak's visit to Israel. Their meeting happened during the 2014 Israel-Gaza conflict and rockets were fired at Tel Aviv during their meeting. As a result they spent two hours in a bomb shelter. In the coverage of the event, Hillel was dubbed "The Robert Scoble of Israel".

Hillel has been published in publications such as Inc. (magazine), Techcrunch, Business Insider, Venture Beat, Entrepreneur, The Next Web, Mashable and The Jerusalem Post.

Today, Hillel is the strategic advisor to nearly 20 Israeli tech companies, advising on all things growth, from social media, content, PR and fundraising, to the art of pitching, and was named the 15th most influential tech blogger on the Internet.

Personal life

Fuld was born in New York City, United States to an orthodox Jewish family. Fuld's father, Rabbi Yonah Fuld, was the second principal of Salanter Akiba Riverdale Academy. His family moved to Israel during his teenage years. Fuld graduated with a BA in political science from Bar Ilan University and promptly started blogging about technology.

In September 2018 Ari Fuld, Fuld's brother, was stabbed to death by a Palestinian at the Gush Etzion Junction. Fuld described his brother as a "hero."

Fuld is married and has five kids.
