Hello, Correctman. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

Switzerland
Your recent edits at Switzerland might be viewed as a pattern of edit warring. I won't leave you the standard {{uw-3rr}} notice because you've previously been warned and blocked for edit warring. Since you are now aware, I hope there won't be a further issue. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 16:08, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
Common languages
Honestly, your last statement that "Italian is merely a language used by the government" leaves me wondering if you are even from Italy. Such opinion may hold indeed some truth in some parts of Italy, like South Tyrol, where German-Italian bilingualism is enforced and the former is (rightly) way more spoken than the latter for historical reasons, but elsewhere Italian is actually the L1, even in Northeastern regions like Veneto where a strong tendency to code-mixing with the variety of their respective regional language is found. As it is, the template paints a very reductionist view on the use of Italian, to put it lightly, and its accuracy is even more questionable if we consider that Italian is listed last. I may have to modify it further and break it down into the official language *and* the other common languages native to the macroregion. Please don't be upset: proposing to improve each other's work is not "sabotaging" (the use of which, along with others, I personally advise against), insofar as mutual respect is assured, but rather the foundation on which creating content for Misplaced Pages lies.--Dk1919 (talk) 00:11, 1 April 2019 (UTC)
- Why do you delete what people try to post on your user page? This is definitely not how Misplaced Pages works, and I suggest you look at some pages in here detailing the appropriate behaviour to engage in conversation with other people. In any case, your last edit has been reverted by another user, since it was not grammatically correct in the first place: was appeared doesn't exist in English.--Dk1919 (talk) 10:12, 1 April 2019 (UTC)
- By the way, jfyi, Italian is not similar at all to Sardinian, lol, I don't even know where you possibly read that! I don't have any bias in favour of Italian, and if you think I do on the ground of your claim, well, you may want not only *not* to imply any further that other people are ill-intentioned for a conjured-up reason or another, but also to consult some philology books on Romance linguistics. Lexical similarity to Latin, based on which I suppose your previous claim was founded, says very little (if anything) about the actual differences between particular languages, and only confirms my suspicion that you were pontificating without even being from Italy (otherwise, I doubt you'd ever come up with your claim that "Italian is just the language used by the government") or being able to speak Italian (or other Romance languages?) to begin with.--Dk1919 (talk) 10:41, 1 April 2019 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Vaselineeeeeeee 14:16, 1 April 2019 (UTC)
