Revision as of 20:23, 10 December 2004 by William M. Connolley (talk | contribs) (TAR (IPCC)|)(diff) ← Previous revision | Latest revision (diff) | Newer revision → (diff)The Summary for policymakers is a summary of the IPCC reports intended to aid policymakers (so the poor dears don't have to read the difficult bits). It is approved line by line by governments. The argument is that the scientists determine what can said, but the governments determine how it can best be said. Negotiations occur over wording to ensure accuracy, balance, clarity of message, and relevance to understanding and policy.
