Erik Bornmann, LL.B, BComm (b. 1976is a former consultant and founding partner of Pilothouse Public Affairs. Incorporated in 2001 Pilothouse Public Affairs Group grew to become one of the leading communications and government relations firms in British Columbia.

Prior to this Erik Bornmann worked as a political organizer for Prime Minister Paul Martin and was an assistant to David Anderson, a Liberal cabinet minister. Erik Bornmann was also President of the Young Liberals of Canada (British Columbia). His political involvement began in high school and continued throughout his university years. Erik Bornmann holds a B.Comm. degree from the University of Victoria and an LL.B. from University of British Columbia.

Bornmann currently resides in Toronto, Canada.

Young Liberals

Erik Bornmann was a prominent member of the University of Victoria Young Liberals. It was at that time that he first was elected President of the Young Liberals of Canada (BC). As a President of the Young Liberals, Erik Bornmann helped build that organization into a strong voice within the Liberal Party of Canada. This included a period of time in which Paul Martin was making inroads into British Columbia preparing for the retirement of Jean Chrétien.

Political Consultant

Erik Bornmann also worked as the director of communications for the Council of Forest Industries and Canada Payphone Corporation.

Youth Group Community Service

Erik Bornman has played a leadership role in variety of youth organizations including Camp Pheonix (a summer camp for disadvantaged children), the Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps., and the Youth Matters! Society of BC.
