The untitled Thor: Ragnarok sequel is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Thor, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the sequel to 2011's Thor, 2013's Thor: The Dark World and 2017's Thor: Ragnarok and intended to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film will be directed by Taika Waititi and star Chris Hemsworth as Thor alongside Tessa Thompson, Waititi, and Jeff Goldblum.

Cast

• Chris Hemsworth as Thor:
  An Avenger based on the Norse mythological deity of the same name. Thor now wields a mystical axe known as Stormbreaker, after the destruction of his hammer, Mjolnir, in Thor: Ragnarok.
• Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie:
  The Queen of New Asgard based on the mythological being Brynhildr,
• Taika Waititi as Korg:
  A friend of Thor's.
• Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster:
  One of the Elders of the Universe who rules the planet Sakaar and enjoys manipulating lesser life-forms.

Production

In April 2019, Tessa Thompson hinted at the possibility of a sequel to Thor: Ragnarok, stating, "I heard that a pitch has happened for . I don't know how real that intel is, but I hear that the pitch has happened. I think the idea is Taika would come back".
