Speedy deletion nomination of SM City North Davao

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on SM City North Davao, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. GrayFullbuster (talk) 14:04, 23 March 2012 (UTC)

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from SM City North Davao, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. • Gene93k (talk) 22:48, 23 March 2012 (UTC)

Good day Sir, I've seen your late edit on Francisco Bangoy International Airport, I was going to add citations on the flight routes that you've added but I can't seem to find a press release or a publication that states that there is such a route exists, I went to the CebuPac website to try and see if there's indeed a direct flight on that day but there's none, same goes with PAL. If i'm mistaken please send a reply, in the mean time I have to revert them. Also, please create the article first for Francisco Bangoy (the person) before adding the link. Speedy deletion nomination of Totoy Brown

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Misplaced Pages. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Totoy Brown requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Flat Out let's discuss it 14:05, 6 August 2013 (UTC)

Philippine Revolution article edit

Please take a second look at this edit. I have edited the article further and added {{pageeno}} and {{fv}} tags to your cite. I looked in the book you cited, and I was unable to verify the figures you added to the article citing this source. I note that on pages 267-268, the book says, "At the time the first Philippine Republic was born, the Filipino army in Luzon had numbered about 50,000. Almost 20,000 of theem were armed with various kinds of rifle -- Mausers, Muratas, and Remingtons. The patriotic forces in the Visayas and Mindinao numbered about 20,000, and only 8,000 of them had rifles. ..." Also, speaking of a timeframe in early August 1898 (prior to the Battle of Manila (1898)), page 260 says that the Filipino troops besieging Manila numbered about 12,000. Your draft article, Misplaced Pages talk:Articles for creation/SM City Lanang

Hello Choy4311. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "SM City Lanang".

Thanks for your submission to Misplaced Pages, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 16:55, 2 June 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for October 10

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Davao Metro Shuttle, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Golden Dragon. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

As you put a speedy deletion tag on this, I don't thing it counts as canvassing to draw your attention to the AfD discussing the article. Peridon (talk) 13:08, 20 February 2017 (UTC)

March Madness 2017

G'day all, please be advised that throughout March 2017 the Military history Wikiproject is running its March Madness drive. This is a backlog drive that is focused on several key areas:

  • tagging and assessing articles that fall within the project's scope
  • updating the project's currently listed A-class articles to ensure their ongoing compliance with the listed criteria
  • creating articles that are listed as "requested" on the project's various task force pages or other lists of missing articles.

As with past Milhist drives, there are points awarded for working on articles in the targeted areas, with barnstars being awarded at the end for different levels of achievement.

The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the military history scope will be considered eligible. More information can be found here for those that are interested, and members can sign up as participants at that page also.

The drive starts at 00:01 UTC on 1 March and runs until 23:59 UTC on 31 March 2017, so please sign up now.

April 2018 Milhist Backlog Drive

G'day all, please be advised that throughout April 2018 the Military history Wikiproject is running its annual backlog elimination drive. This will focus on several key areas:

  • tagging and assessing articles that fall within the project's scope
  • adding or improving listed resources on Milhist's task force pages
  • updating the open tasks template on Milhist's task force pages
  • creating articles that are listed as "requested" on the project's various lists of missing articles.

As with past Milhist drives, there are points awarded for working on articles in the targeted areas, with barnstars being awarded at the end for different levels of achievement.

The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the scope of military history will be considered eligible. This year, the Military history project would like to extend a specific welcome to members of Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Women in Red, and we would like to encourage all participants to consider working on helping to improve our coverage of women in the military. This is not the sole focus of the edit-a-thon, though, and there are aspects that hopefully will appeal to pretty much everyone.

The drive starts at 00:01 UTC on 1 April and runs until 23:59 UTC on 30 April 2018. Those interested in participating can sign up here.

Disambiguation link notification for November 20

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Davao City, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Commandery (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Davao

If you read the article, you would notice that the lead paragraph you removed and added to the law and order section is repeating info already contained in that section. Note that WP:edit warring is prohibited even when it occurs over more than 24 hours. zzz (talk) 17:28, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
