First, my reversions were entirely appropriate and I attempted to politely discuss them with you on the discussion forum talk:Origins_of_the_American_Civil_War. You refused.

Second, contrary to your claim, I did provide specific source references in the text including Taylor's books and links to other wikipedia articles with documentation.

Third, you have made absolutely no effort to reconcile your use of blatant POV terminology throughout the article and also refused to discuss it when approached.

Fourth, you engaged in personal attacks on me in the "edit summary" box then cleansed your history when I drew attention to it.

Fifth, whether I am a new user or not is of no concern to you. That said, I discovered the site recently, made a few IP contributions and edits to test the waters, liked it, and signed up as a user today only to be verbally abused by you for attempting to clean up an article that you are evidently too biased and immature to discuss, edit, or correct in an adult manner. As I noted, I placed a request for mediation.

(1) You reversions are inappropriate. Each item that you disputed was referenced. Furthermore, you provided no references of your own where you replaced the original text. (2) I did not violate the 3RR. My first edit reverted you when you were editing from an anon IP range. My subsequent edit was to add references to the original text, not a revert but an attempt to address your concerns about unsourced claims. I later reverted that edit after you had deleted sourced scholarship without supporting it.

BTW, you don't strike me as a new user. Out of curiosity, are you? 172 08:59, 8 Jan 2005 (UTC)
