Before he got injured he was the Bears starting middle line backer. After his career ending injury the FS rookie from the University of New Mexico was forced to make the change to MLB. The replacment for Barry Minter was the star out of New Mexico Brian Urlacher. Brian Urlacher is right now on the Bears until 2011. Before Barry played for the Bears he went to college at the University of Tulsa. He started playing in 1993 as a DE.
