Orphaned non-free media (Image:BOINC running-Task mgr CPU usage history demo-en.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:BOINC running-Task mgr CPU usage history demo-en.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 23:04, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- The Picture was orphaned due to deletion edit of article by someone without cited reason, then article content/context had been reverted and the subject picture is now un-orphaned. Also rationale copyright licensing added.--Namazu-tron (talk) 19:29, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
One Village One Product movement
Hi Namazu-tron,
Thanks for starting the article One-Village One-Product. It seems we were thinking alike, though, since it's the same topic as One Village One Product movement. Please forgive me for not creating enough redirects -- if I had, it would have saved you the effort of writing a second article on the subject.
Best regards,

Ernest Henry Wilson
Hi Namuzu-tron. Thankyou for your contributions to the Ernest Henry Wilson article - much appreciated. Can you help? The Wilson tree stump you describe, did Wilson discover this? Thanks Northmetpit (talk) 10:59, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, Northmetpit. Give me a time to survey and response. TKS.--Namazu-tron (talk) 02:09, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
- In Yakushima the highest mountain elevation is 1936m. Jōmon Sugi is at 1,030 m discovered in 1968, and Wilson stump is at 1030m discovered, yes, by Wilson in 1914, 52 years before Jōmon Sugi. During from 1586 to 1914, memory of this stump is not recorded, and Wilson seemed to climb up to high elevation area. The people of Yakushima might not need big tree for their building or housing, small or slim tree is enough. People activity is taken place up to around satoyama area and fishery. There are many site in web including blog about Wilson stump, but none of them describe in details what Wilson surveyed or examined. If you want know more about Wilson stump, you should check the books Wilson wrote.--Namazu-tron (talk) 04:17, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

HDTV quality DVD Player
Hello, I saw an article that you created, HDTV quality DVD Player, and I'm having trouble ascertaining the notability of the concept itself, or rather, what makes it any different than HD DVD. I was thinking of merging this article back in with HD DVD but if its something totally different than I'd appreciate if you could clarify what makes it important. Thanks, ThemFromSpace 18:32, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for August 19
Hi. When you recently edited Mechanical Engineering Heritage (Japan), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Desktop and Rinse (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Nomination of Mottainai for deletion
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Mottainai is suitable for inclusion in Misplaced Pages according to Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Mottainai until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. --Edcolins (talk) 16:13, 28 July 2013 (UTC)
- I logged in English edition today. My opinion is that: Keep, Wangari Maathai found that no corresponding word in English to represent the concept or spiritual manner of mottainai. The article is well describe and well expanded to suitable for Misplaced Pages. It was too late to know the delete discussion was made and discussion is closed. I put my comment here. That you for your notice. --Namazu-tron (talk) 13:49, 31 July 2013 (UTC)

Broadcast XML Nominated for deletion
Broadcast Markup Language has been nominated for deletion by a user who is involved in trying to delete the BeerXML article and is now trawling Misplaced Pages for other articles to delete because they are losing that debate and feel that if other XML derived standards are deleted it might help them win the argument they are losing. Please challenge its deletion if you feel this is an unnacceptable. Regards Devils In Skirts! (talk) 12:16, 15 February 2014 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Survey Invite
I'm working on a study of political motivations and how they effect editing. I'd like to ask you to take a survey. The survey should take 5 minutes. Your survey responses will be kept private. Our project is documented at https://meta.wikimedia.org/Research:Wikipedia_%2B_Politics.
I am asking you to participate in this study because you are a frequent editor of pages on Misplaced Pages that are of political interest. We would like to learn about your experiences in dealing with editors of different political orientations.
Sincere thanks for your help! Porteclefs (talk) 16:53, 24 June 2017 (UTC)

弓流 narrative in 源平盛衰記
Hey!
Sorry to bother you about an edit from so long ago, but do you happen to remember if you were reading some published source or the like that might be where you got this information? I ask because in the last few months the content has become somewhat controversial, and when I went back to the 源平盛衰記 text (and also the "standard" 平家物語, for reasons that don't merit explaining), the passages where "勿体無し" appears were different sections of the text (specifically the 平氏嫌手向付通盛請小宰相局事 and the 公朝時成関東下向付知康芸能事), while the 弓流 story (the exact passage you gave a translation of) uses the word "浅猿浅猿" instead.
Sorry again to ask you about an edit you made more than 11 years ago, but I would be most appreciative if you could help me out here.
