Lion-O is a fictional character and protagonist of the ThunderCats franchise.


1985

Main article: ThunderCats (1985 TV series)

Lion-O is a refugee from Thundera and the future King of the Thundercats. When Lion-O tried to escape his pod during hibernation it premanturely aged him making Lion O have mind of a child but a muscular adult male body.

2011

Lion-O is reminagined a teenager who has being exiled from his Kingdom and must rebuild his kingdom and defeat Mumm Ra.

Thundercats Roar

Lion -0 takes a more comedic tone and is slow witted and easily frightened.

Reception

Lion-0 has received a mostly positive reception from critics Comic Book Resources ranked the character 15th Best think about Thundercats. io9 ranked Lion-O 5th best thing about Thundercats.
