Masashi Kishimoto (岸本斉史 Kishimoto Masashi, born November 8, 1974) is the author of the famous manga Naruto.

Kishimoto has recieved the Hop Step Award.

Early life

Born in the Japanese prefecture of Okayama, Masashi Kishimoto had started a life of drawing from early pre-school age. He aspired in his elementary years to become a creator of Manga.

Works

Masashi Kishimoto has been recognized as one of the elite mangaka's, (mangaka meaning, roughly, "comic book artist" in Japanese) after making his most famous work: Naruto--although he has other manga beneath his belt, such as Karakuri (which--after being submitted to Shueisha--was his first professional work).
