Devon is a fictional character on the TV series The Office. His first line is on Halloween although you can see Devon in the background during Season 1. In a deleted scen for Diversity Day, he is scene with a post-it note on his head that says West Nile. You could also see him on The Dundies, when Dwight Schrute warns him to keep his awards speech short. On Halloween, Boss Michael Scott must fire one employee. After trying to fire many workers he attempts to fire Creed Bratton. Creed convinces Michael that he should fire Dvon instead. Michael calls Devon into his office. Devon is very mad because the only reason he's being fired is because Creed pressured him to. Dvon tries to convince his boss to reconsider and fire Creed, but is unsuccessful. Michael Scott tries to salvage a friendship that wasn't even there to begin with by on top of severance, giving Devon a $20 Chili's gift card. Before leaving Devon yelled an invatation for drinks at Poor Richard's to "Kevin, Jim, Pam, Kelly, Toby, Oscar, Meredith, Phyllis, Stanley, and the temp (refering to Ryan)". Which Devon ripped right in front of him. Devon later threw a pumpkin at Michael's car. Evrybody leaves the Office except Michael, Dwight, Angela Martin, and Creed, suggesting that Devon didn't get along with Dwight and Angela. Later, Michael recieves a $3000 Christmas bonus, which Michael credits to firing Devon. He even considers calling Devon to thank him. In a deleted scene from Valentine's Day, Michael is walking down the street whenhe sees Devon throwing up in a trash can. Devon immediatly notices him and starts chasing after him.
