DJ Aqeel (born Aqeel Ali) is a popular Indian DJ, Singer and Music composer.

Biography

Family

DJ Aqeel born in Hyderabad, lives in Mumbai with his wife Farah Khan Ali, who is the daughter of actor Sanjay Khan, and is the sister of the Bollywood actor Zayed Khan. The couple has one son and one daughter, Azaan born on 7 May 2002 and Fizaa born on 2 April 2005.

Nightclubs owned

He owned Hype Nightclub in Atria Mall in Worli, Mumbai, also in Delhi's Hotel Shangrila and in Ludhiana known as Urban Hara (Hype).

Arrest in Dubai

DJ Aqeel was arrested in Dubai in 2010 for carrying the party drug ecstasy.He was released a few days later when after the authorities failed to prove that he had consumed the drug through tests conducted on him.
