WLFG is a religious station in the mountains of southwestern Virginia, licensed in Grundy, Virginia and owned by Living Faith Ministries in Abingdon, Virginia. WLFG operates on channel 68 analog, channel 49 digital.
WLFG also owns and operates two satellites, WAGV channel 44 in Harlan, Kentucky and WLFB channel 40 in Bluefield, West Virginia.
WLFG programming can also be seen in the Knoxville area on W14CX channel 14 in Farragut, Tennessee, a repeater owned by the Three Angels Broadcasting Network.
History
Living Faith Television (LFTV) began on July 17, 1987 as they signed on for WLFG-TV Channel 68 in Grundy, Virginia. 3 years later on September 10, 1990 WAGV-TV Channel 43 in Harlan, Kentucky & 6 years Later on August 3, 1996 WLFB-TV Channel 40 signed on in Bluefield, West Virginia. In 1995 WAGV-TV Changed the channel from Ch. 43 to Ch. 44 & on August 13, 1995 The 2 Stations (including WLFG-TV) are simulcasted together for the 1st Time and in 2000 WLFB-TV became the 3rd station to join the 2 stations became all 3 stations in the 5-State Area became The "LIVING FAITH TELEVISION" Network (LFTV). From 2000 to the present time, LFTV bringing on the digital stations to signed on each 1 to all 3 HDTV stations: WLFG-DTV 49, WAGV-DTV 51 & WLFB-DTV 14 are going to take control of each 1 of these 3 stations to used telecast religious shows, cartoons, sitcoms, talk shows & many more. Through Local, Regional & National Shows that broadcast on LFTV and launched their own website in 2006 and finally the 4th & Last TV station to join (LFTV) is W14CX Channel 14 in Farragut-Knoxville, Tennessee as an instant repeater.
