Teddy McDonald is a British contemporary artist. He has customised guitars for Ed Sheeran and painted with HRH Princess Eugenie and HRH Princess Beatrice. He has also showcased a Range Rover Autobiography Art Car.

Work

Teddy McDonald ,has been profiled by GQ magazine as the artist to watch and has citied David Hockney as a major inspiration in his career.

McDonald has designed and created painted Fender Stratocasters played by Ed Sheeran on both his x Tour and ÷ Tour. One of these guitars was a collaboration between McDonald and New York street art pioneer John Matos aka Crash. The Fender Stratocaster named, 'Green T, was sold by Bonhams, London in December 2015 achieving more than twice the estimate.

Ed Sheeran played the 'Crash x Teddy M' Fender Stratocaster during his headline performance at the Glastonbury Festival, 2017.

Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie and Sarah, Duchess of York painted with McDonald on the lawn of Royal Lodge in May 2016 adding their own 'graffiti' to a painting titled "Royal Love". The painting was exhibited at Masterpiece London. The artist donated the proceeds from the sale to the charity Children in Crisis.

He has showcased an art car using a Range Rover Autobiography. The artist described the art car as a 'roving sculpture' and it was shown in London and the Cotswolds.

The Royal Agricultural University commissioned McDonald to create an artwork for permanent display in 2018.

To date, McDonald's work has attracted FIAT heir Lapo Elkann and fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger as well as Ferrari Director of Design Flavio Manzoni and 14 x Everest Summit Climber Kenton Cool
