The untitled Pirates of the Caribbean film is an upcoming American action adventure film based on the attraction of the same name and reboot of the film franchise of the same name.

Development
On October 23, 2018, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick were set to write a reboot to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise with Jerry Bruckheimer set to produce the film, until February 14, 2019, they left the project. On October 25, 2019, Craig Mazin and original writer Ted Elliott were set to write the script.
Casting
On October 19, 2019, Karen Gillan was rumored to star in the film.
