André Sogliuzzo (born August 10, 1966) is an American actor, voice actor, director, singer-songwriter, known for his voice over work in American Dad!, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Celebrity Deathmatch, Family Guy, Harvey Beaks, and Invader Zim, as well as the video games Battlefield 3, Destroy All Humans!, Mafia II, Psychonauts, Ratchet: Deadlocked, Scarface: The World Is Yours, Skylanders, and Spyro. In Open Season 3 (2010), he voiced McSquizzy, replacing Billy Connolly.

Early life

Sogliuzzo was born in New York City, New York on August 10, 1966.

Career

Sogliuzzo began his career working in New York Theatre. His screen debut was opposite Al Pacino in Looking for Richard (1996). After roles in Disney's Iron Will (1994) and Nora Ephron's You've Got Mail (1998), he began to add voice work to his resume. An astoundingly versatile character-actor, it was voice acting that he found unlimited horizons. In addition to Pacino and Ephron, Sogliuzzo has worked with Tom Hanks, Robert Zemeckis, Taylor Hackford, Andrew Adamson, and Adam Sandler. Since moving to Los Angeles, he has covered the gambit in the voice-acting field. As a voice-match artist, Sogliuzzo has looped for the likes of Russell Crowe, Gene Hackman, Jack Nicholson, and Clint Eastwood. His animated feature work includes the twin train engineers Smokey and Steamer in The Polar Express (2005), The Lion King 1½ (2004), Mulan II (2004), and The Wild (2006).

With L.A. Theater Works, he performed in live radio-drama productions of Breaking the Code and Sixteen Wounded. He contributed numerous voices to a variety of animated television series, including Family Guy, American Dad!, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Jackie Chan Adventures, Brandy & Mr. Whiskers (as Gaspar Le Gekko), Stuart Little (as Monty), Invader Zim, Father of the Pride, Samurai Jack, Celebrity Deathmatch, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. As a veteran of close to a hundred video games, Sogliuzzo has voiced a thousand characters who died in such titles as Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault, Medal of Honor: Rising Sun, Call of Duty, True Crime: New York City, True Crime: Streets of LA, Destroy All Humans!, Spawn: Armageddon, and Doom 3. He voiced Puss in Boots in all of the Shrek video games and performed the role of Tony Montana in Vivendi's Scarface: The World Is Yours.

In Open Season 3 (2010), Sogliuzzo voiced McSquizzy, taking over from Billy Connolly.

Personal life

Sogliuzzo resides in Los Angeles, California.
