A.J .Novello ( born January 2, 1967) is an American musician and music producer from Astoria, N.Y. mainly known as the founder and main songwriter of N.Y. band Leeway in 1984 and as touring guitarist for the Cro-mags, besides playing for short periods in other groups including Sick of it All, Murphy's Law, Breakdown, Lordz of Brooklyn, Hesher, F.V.K. and Both Worlds.

In the 1990's, A.J. starting producing bands in between touring and recording, most notably "5 Deadly Venoms" by Merauder and "Out to Win" by Mushmouth.

A.J. started touring in the late 1980s which included playing in the continental U. S. and Hawaii, Canada and Mexico and internationally in Europe, Japan, and Australia.
