Cletus Seidu Dapilah (born 2 April 1980) is a Ghanaian politician and member of the National Democratic Congress. He is the member of parliament for the Jirapa Constituency in the Upper West Region
Early life and education
Dapilah hails from Tizza-Nimbare. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration.
He also holds a Mphil as well as a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from the Wa Polytechnic.
He is an old student of the famous Lawra Secondary in the Upper West Region.
He previously served as the District Chief Executive for the Jirapa District between 2015 and 2016.
As a grassroots politician, he held the position of Secretary of the NDC in the Jirapa Constituency for a two terms.
In the 2019 fiercely contested parliamentary primaries of the NDC, he shrugged off competition from six others including the incumbent Member of Parliament to clinch the coveted slot with an unassailable lead.
Cletus went ahead to win the seat in the 2020 general elections and repeated the same dose in the 2024 elections to represent the good people of Jirapa in the 8th as well as the 9th Parliament.
Cletus Seidu Dapilah is a muslim and married with three adorable kids.
