Redirect to Arunasva

Mithilanchalputra7 would you co-operate in redirecting this event to Arunasva? Because so far there are no Indian accounts that describes this event, also Tansen and Majumdar are dubious of Chinese accounts. A second AfD would be no better than redirect. Garuda 07:38, 22 December 2024 (UTC)

@Garudam No Indian accounts for Battle of Hydaspes rather this page be expanded to include questioning of historicity. Mithilanchalputra(Talk) 07:42, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
You need not to compare Greek accounts with problematic Chinese accounts. Garuda 07:47, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
Wang Xuance covers the same topic; this is yet another page created by Mithilanchalputra7 by duplicating another page without proper attribution. That's not how Misplaced Pages works. NB: no page links to Sino-Kannauj War; about twenty pages link to Wang Xuance. Joshua Jonathan - Let's talk! 08:17, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
I was also wondering if Wang Xuance could have been better target over Arunasva. PS: I was unaware that this was directly copied without proper attribution. It should not have been eligible for a redirect in the first place and only required a merge due to the unwarranted WP:SPLIT. Garuda 11:06, 22 December 2024 (UTC)

@Garudam: you added quite a lot of tags; can you explain the issues? For example hoax, how come? Joshua Jonathan - Let's talk! 08:04, 22 December 2024 (UTC)

@Joshua Jonathan there are many discrepancy in the sources, see this discussion, moreover Tansen is not certain if the Chinese accounts should be regarded as anywhere near to historical. Garuda 11:02, 22 December 2024 (UTC)
