The following article is a summary of the 2019–20 football season in France, which was the 86th season of competitive football in the country and ran from July 2019 to June 2020.

On 28 April 2020, Prime Minister Edouard Philippe announced all sporting events in France would be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

1. On 9 March 2020, Internazionale announced that they had suspended all activities of their youth teams due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy, and thus would not play their round of 16 match against Rennes, and the match had originally been cancelled. UEFA decided not to punish Internazionale due to the unprecedented situation caused by COVID-19 and following an agreement by both clubs, the match was rescheduled.
