The 2025 Syracuse mayoral election will be held on November 4, 2025. Incumbent mayor, Ben Walsh, is term limited, and canβt run for third term.
Background
Deputy Mayor, Sharon Owens was the first Democrat to announce her mayoral campaign, on September 30, 2024, after announcing an exploratory committee.
Other democrats, Jimmy Oliver and Pat Hogan, announced their candidacies, soon after.
