A Life in Administration is an autobiographical work by Ghazi Al-Gosaibi, in which he discusses his life journey, from his early education to his appointment as the Ambassador to London in 1992. The book is considered one of his most prominent works, with more than 19 editions published. In 2018, the Saudi Ministry of Education included the book as part of the secondary school curriculum, aiming to introduce students to the field of management science, which the author explores through his personal experiences.

The author recounts his experience and the way he managed the positions he held. He shares some of the situations, anecdotes, and obstacles he faced, and draws lessons from them to offer guidance for administrators in general, and for young people in particular.
