Ceolwald of Wessex

Ceolwald of Wessex Cuthasson was a member of the House of Wessex (see House of Wessex family tree). Although a member of the direct male line from Cynric to Egbert, Ceolwald was never king. Born 622 in Wessex and died on June 12 688, he had a son in 644.

His father was Cuthwulf of Wessex Cuthwineson (592-622), his mother was Princess Gwynhafar of Dumnonia (604-680), his Wife Queen Fafertach Ingen Figuine of Wessex (620-644) and his child Ceonred of Wessex Ceolwaldsson (644-698).

In 644, his wife Queen Farfetach Ingen Figuine of Wessex gave birth to a boy named Ceonred of Wessex Ceolwaldsson and died during childbirth.
