David Strettell is the founder and owner of Dashwood Books, New York Cityβs only independent bookstore dedicated to photography. He opened the store in 2005. Prior to this, Strettell was Mario Testinoβs assistant, and then served as cultural director of Magnum Photos for 12 years. He also publishes books on photography, including limited-edition monographs. Strettell is married to Ann Christiansen, and is a father of one.
