In this Spanish name, the first or paternal surname is de Mazariegos and the second or maternal family name is Guadalfajara. For the conqueror of Chiapas, see Diego de Mazariegos y Porres.

Diego de Mazariegos Guadalfajara was colonial governor of Cuba from 1556 to 1565 and colonial governor of Venezuela Province from 1570 to 1576.
