HMP Fosse Way is a Category C prison in Leicester, England, UK. It has a planned capacity of 1,930 male inmates and cost £286 million to construct. It is operated by Serco, under a ten-year contract, and received its first prisoners on Monday 29 May 2023.

History

The prison was constructed on the site of HM Prison Glen Parva, which closed in 2017.

In August 2022, a proposal to increase the size of the prison to accommodate 250 additional inmates was announced. In December 2022, the proposal was approved.
