Hama Subdistrict (Arabic: ناحية مركز حماة) is a Syrian nahiyah (subdistrict) located in Hama District in Hama. According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Hama Subdistrict had a population of 996,000 in the 2023 census. Following Fall of the Assad regime the Subdistrict is now controlled by the Syrian transitional government
