Idi Mukhtar Maiha is a Nigerian Politician. He currently serves as the Minister of Livestock Development.
Biography
He was born in Maiha Local Government, Borno State. He graduated from the University of Maiduguri with a degree in Agriculture and obtained a master's degree in Animal Science from the University of Ibadan.
Career
He has been the Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources in Borno State and also a director of the Borno State Ministry of Agriculture.
He is the managing director and CEO of Zaidi Farms Ltd.
In October 2024, Idi Mukhtar Maiha was appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Minister of the Ministry of Livestock Development.
