The International Public Debate Association (IPDA) is a national debate league. The IPDA was founded in 1997 at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas by Alan Cirlin, Jack Rogers, and Trey Gibson.
Divisions, and Eligibility
IPDA tournaments consist of different levels. There are individual debates (one on one), and two-person teams (two on two). In addition, there are three divisions: Novice, Varsity, and Professional.
To be eligible to participate, members must be an undergraduate college or university student.
