Jon Paul is an American filmmaker, actor and martial artist best known for his short film Dojo (2023), a martial arts action-drama short film that has won multiple awards.

Life and career

Paul was born and raised in Miami, Florida, where he developed an early passion for storytelling and martial arts. He earned a bachelor's degree in psychology, but his interests shifted toward personal training and martial arts.

Paul ventured into filmmaking and began auditioning for roles. In 2023, he created his first short film, Dojo, a martial arts action-drama short film that has won multiple awards. He was the lead actor in the film starring as Shane Lucas.

Beyond filmmaking, Paul is a martial artist, holding a 4th-degree black belt in Judo and earning two national Judo championships.
